Job Opening:

Water Operator-T2-Booneville, AR

Booneville Water and Sewer located in Booneville, AR is seeking a Water Plant Operator must have a  Grade 2 in water treatment and be willing to work towards their Grade 4. Grade 2 Distribution is definitely a plus.

The candidate will be an experienced, certified operator who is knowledgeable in all aspects of treatment and process control. They should be mechanically inclined to perform repairs and do preventative maintenance. They should be able to work independently as well as under supervision. The candidate should be eager to expand their knowledge and looking to advance their career at our water facility.

This is a full-time position with some weekend and on call hours required as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to climb heights up to 100 feet as needed.
• Must be able to perform strenuous activities such as lifting and carrying objects that are 65 lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, twist and turn.
• Must be familiar and able to proficiently use general hand tools.
• Must be able to attain a ADH treatment grade 3 license within 365 days of employment.
• Must be able to learn water system operations.
• Must be willing to take and respond to evening and weekend call outs.
• Must be safety and team oriented.
